CanoeKids Camp

Pitt Meadows Paddling Club offers CanoeKayak Canada’s signature CanoeKids Day Camps focusing on skills development to introduce the sport of paddling. Children aged 8 –13 yrs experience kayaks and stand up paddleboards. Available during July and August, campers will receive instruction in various types of paddling from certified coaches, and enjoy spending time on the water practicing what they’ve learned. The daily paddling activities are balanced with games and day trips to various spots along the river, as well as lots of swimming on those hot and sunny days. No experience is needed and campers work at their own pace to develop paddling skills.

Games, kayak paddling and stand up paddle board paddling will all be introduced to the participants during the week long sessions. The week finishes with a BBQ and certificate presentation.

Price – $250 for the program;  To register for a second camp this summer, or for a second child in the family, $210.  GST will be added and included in the total reflected.

Children must be 8 years of age to participate in the camp due to the physical expectations. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone younger.
